I can never listen to "Won't Get Fooled Again" without listening to the whole thing without interruptions. The kids, now adults, know every note. More important, they know when they can get out of the car.

The greatest live band ever. Hard to believe 3 musicians could create that much sound. It was like all 3 , including Moon, played lead. All due respect to Mick Jagger but Daltrey was a force of nature himself. Favorite song.. hard to pick one but Can’t Explain is the one that got me hooked.
Excellent piece on The Who. Agreed- impossible to pick one track from Quadrophenia but I’ve always loved ‘Sea and Sand.’ - We could also throw in the greatest live rock recording (Live at Leeds) for, quite easily, the greatest 4-album run ever - Tommy, Leeds, Who’s Next, Quadrophenia.
In many other Countries, the January 6th attempted coup d'état at Our Capital would have been taken SERIOUSLY! NOT IN AMERICA Though. Anywhere else, there would have already been hangings of the Leader/Leaders of the attempted overthrow of our Government and all others involved in any way would already be serving long prison sentences for their traitorous crimes.

Yeeessss, girl! I have been a devoted fan of the Who since the 70s. It wasn't really all that cool for a woman to be into the Who, they of the muscular, macho rock n' roll (oh those whirling arms, those smashing guitars) but f*ck it, I was all there!
There are too many favorite Who songs to name, but I'll choose "Baba O'Riley" as one of the best car-driving songs of all time. I cranked it up and drove the highway back to Uni, singing along and pounding the steering wheel. Man, those were the days.
The Who was the first rock concert I attended ...San Diego in 1971. Blew me away and I’ll never forget it. I have many favorites, but I’d say that for the times right now...”Won’t Get Fooled Again”..

My favorites are the little-known gems, “I Don’t Even Know Myself” and “Naked Eye”
