Amsterdam's a soothing place. Relax and take a break from thoughts of the past year. Enjoy pancakes, flowers and the art!

I love the vanGogh museum. I was last there in summer ‘76 when I was still afraid of sunflowers. It took me awhile to find the entrance.

Enjoy!

I missed the Van Gogh museum when I was there. Stayed too long at the Rijksmuseum, with Vermeer and Hals around every corner.

Yes, you need to give the Van Gogh museum enough time. Unless, it’s changed since I went, it’s in chronological order. You can see how his style developed.

The pancakes look scrumptious! Jet lag’s a drag but it beats the hellish Kevin McCarthy 8-hour-ish marathon wordsalad that forced the Dems to have to bump voting for BBB bill till 8am Friday.

Dear Mary,

Enjoy our beautiful country. Thank you for using your courageous voice. Really sorry I won’t be able to attend to conference. Would have loved to have listened to you and your fellow speakers.

Kind regards, Sarah van der Loop, Wageningen (formerly from Amsterdam)

Ooh, I see you're in Gelderland. My grandparents came over to the U.S. from there (Aalten area). God, I miss the Netherlands.

Have a wonderful time. Contrary to all the others, those pancakes look simply... awful! Just can’t do something like that in the morning or any other time. But there’s so much other good food, good sights, and good people to enjoy! Learn something new today!

We may have crossed paths. We flew via Schipol on our way to Munich this morning. Amsterdam is so vibrant and so wonderfully diverse. And the museums….! Treat yourself like royalty Mary.

My father was there when the war with Germany ended. That's where he bought toys for me although I wasn't yet born. He knew my mother would marry him and I would show up up eventually. My parents were different. Free. And let me be free.
