I STAND BY MY EARLIER COMMENT it's kinda rude asking Mary In For Several Appearances but not appointing her the "Clinical Psychologist" Contributor Overall at MSNBC rather than "On Demand Donald Talk" love & peace

I just listened to your new Star Trek podcast. Really enjoyed the interview with Terry Matalas, and I can’t wait to hear the next with Jeri Ryan. I’ve been watching Star Trek since it first aired on TV - some 56 years! Loved, loved Picard season 3.

I destress and stay sane by spending time with my puppy, Fergus. He is a mini AussieDoodle (or Aussiepoo), 1-1/2 years old now, super smart and handsome! I am 66 and raising him on my own. I also destress by listening to music sent to me by a man I’ve known since childhood and am deeply in love with; however, after reconnecting again in 2021 after 53 years apart, his wife of 20 years decided she didn’t want the divorce. Hence, he stays in his state thousands of miles from mine. But we FaceTime most days of the week and he sends me music on the weekends. I eat a few gummies, curl up with Fergus and play those magic tunes. Thank you Mary for all you do and write about! I think you are fabulous.

Aside from the fact that you're one of my heroes in this disgusting "Donald-world," like you, I take solice in the Trek world. I am especially fond of DS9 & "Tuvak," from "Voyager." My favorite quote comes from Tuvak when he presided over the funeral of a fellow crew member, & he said: "May your death bring you the peace you never knew in life." Quite fitting for these tumultuous times, wouldn't you say? Jay Cook, Tucson, Arizona.

My dog and watching comedy after the news are my two healing balms to calm my nervous system. Been recently rewatching “Brooklyn 99” and that is such an antidote to the often depressing news cycle. I always want to stay informed, but I also need to take time away. Great to see you enjoying some more fun things in your life, you deserve it.

Not a huge Star Trek fan, but I know you will have a blast.

What keeps me sane is family, friends, a good glass of wine, good food, and escaping into books like your novel.

I love how it's being introduced slowly making the reader hungry for more.

I made an effort to watch the first season STAR TREK broadcasts. It ran on Friday night around 7 or 8. Not to worry as I watched every episode my second year of college. The drugs helped! (My grade point average not so much.) As a cinephile I have no clue what's going on in the matrix. I prefer to garden but just relocated to TX so I'll do potted plants inside. Mary, you're a heroine to this liberal atheist! Stay strong in the Light 🕯️ and thank you for being here now.
