A dear friend continues to say “the truth will find you-him-out.” For your sake and consideration of loss of family-out of five there is two of us living. We’re estranged from each other for the affiliation with him and the Republican establishment. My father was him on a much stronger basis. So when he came to the White House as president it triggered me. I’ve been in therapy and at that time I had not gotten beyond my father’s behavior. Today happy to say I’ve been able to forgive both my parents for the deep hurt. I’m a stable man today. Yes his position and idiotic actions will be found out!
It's been said that "Time heals all wounds." The wounds heal but still leave a scar. Congratulations on your successful therapeutic journey. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the interview and for providing a transcript. I have one small correction to what Joe said - "Mazars, which is the Trump Organization’s audit company". Mazars is a CPA firm but it did not audit the Trump Organization financial statements; it only compiled the information it was given. An audit, in this situation, would mean that Mazars verified the information on the statements and would hold liability for major errors. Trump didn't want audited financial statements because he wouldn't have been able to inflate his assets. Have a very Happy Thanksgiving and I agree that we all need to get plenty of rest.
100% correct. It’s “an audit company” but in Trump’s context “accounting company” was a more accurate description. Thank you for the important distinction Patricia!
The financial statements explicitly note that Mazars did not audit or authenticate them. Mazars just reported the Trump values in compiling the financial statements.
As much as I want to see it...Donald Trump is not going to jail before any federal conviction. I’m so freaking tired of thinking that he will be held accountable for anything. Let’s be real, huh, so we can hold ourselves together through all this nonsense and see what’s real. He won’t be going to a state prison. He maybe...maybe...will be going to a federal country club or - VERY most likely - be “monitored” as a result of these charges. One of our Elders told a story of how important it is to work together as equal, a woman is like the Ocean, always moving, yet as beautiful as anything ever seen, a man is like a Mountain, tall strong, and can be seen for miles. But it's the woman's capability wich can break that Mountain to nothing more, than a grain of sand.
I’m going be the usual contrarian here and suggest that Trump will keep pushing the envelope to get jailed. I think he wants to play the martyr not unlike Adolf Hitler. Maybe he will write his Mein Kemph then later find a ghost writer to make it sound almost profound for his monkey 🙈 monkey 🙉 🙊 listeners. What do you think? I think he wants a prison cell. I was in an auxiliary court when he was testifying on the 4th floor and when I figured court was about to recess, I got up and took the elevator to the 3rd floor courtroom just in time to hear him rag on to the waiting media in the immediate hallway leading to the main hall. I could hear him and I had an inclination to yell at him something nasty. He would have been close enough to hear it and I probably would have been arrested. It provided another story for me.
That is precisely what so many have been saying, Bill. You, a regular guy, would have been arrested, but Donald, a very irregular guy, has yet to see the inside of a jail or prison cell in spite of his numerous legal transgressions.
But I also have selfish self-promotional reasons for being arrested. I want to promote my book. Had I yelled in court while he testified some very nasty stuff, and it would have been nasty enough for Trump to walk out of court and probably mention me which would have been my goal, I would have had world media wanting me for an interview and I would have been pushing my book up to my face so the cameras would have to take it. But at what price. A few days in jail would have been acceptable. But an attorney friend in CT who is t far with New York law, thought New York could have kept me on Rykers Island up to 6 months.
He wants to push the envelope far enough to be detained privately, nowhere near any regular jail or with prisoners, from about 11:00pm to 7:00am with the Secret Service right there. Certainly not in a cell. And he can moan and cry so stupid people send him money and vote for him. And, he can set up all sorts of appeals against a real guilty verdict. He’s the ultimate grifter and conman. He’s praying to be “detained.” Eight hours is all he needs. Thankfully, I think Judge Engoron, Judge Chutkan, and Fani Willis are more than wise to his attempted tricks but, sadly, innocent people like Judge Engoron’s clerk have to suffer and we have to suffer watching his obnoxious nonsense until he, please 🙏, finally gets convicted.
Donald Trump was found by the Colorado court to have engaged in an insurrection against the United States..The language of Sec 3 of the 14th Amendment is clear and succinct stating that:
“No person shall hold any office, civil or military, under the United States who, having previously taken an oath to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof."
Regarding disputes about the oath of office..
The words support, defend, protect are factually synonymous..
He is disqualified from office..Full Stop!
The same Colorado court errored with its ruling on the language contained in Sec 3.. plain and simple..The court may very well have deliberately ruled as it did to pass the buck and send it up to appeal.
And if anyone disagrees with this assessment that I have put forward, they should speak with J.Michael Luttig or Lawrence Tribe..
The right to vote given to U.S. citizens by The Constitution is a right to cast a vote for a qualified candidate..If one is not qualified they don’t get on the ballot..
I agree with your assessment. I think she may have felt uncomfortable being the sole person to remove him from the ballot, and so she set up her legal opinion so the Colorado Supreme Court could make the final decision. And even that will not be final. I believe this is inevitably heading to the Supreme Court.

Hi Judy Katz. We aren’t related directly anyway. Once my father thought about changing his name but didn’t. My stage name is Catman Bill (a play on the name and I’m also a part time cat rescuer.) And I also am not eating turkey tomorrow. I almost never do things others do. Because of my feline herd of 7, I learned how to make my own cat food sourced from chicken thighs. It’s cheaper and much more nutritious than any factory food. Trust me. Check out catinfo.org for the recipe. It’s fun, cheap relatively so, and nutritious.

But, he can continue to devalue the justice system and its elected officers, and call down harassment (if prevented from calling down death) upon them. And his aggrieved supporters are not critical thinkers, and may even be as narcissistic as he is.keep reporting and analyzing, though. Truth is good.
