So disappointed with Glenn Greenwald, Bill Mahr, and especially with Matt Taibi ... he did an excellent financial piece in Rolling Stone on Trump years ago. Oh well ... it seems that, indeed, hate is easier. It's exactly what Martin Luther King, Jr., spent his whole life demonstrating. Love and resistance is hard but it is the only thing that works to change things.
Those three mentioned were made famous by liberal groups and media, especially during GWBush's administration. They are undoubtedly smart people, but maybe they are getting more by being turncoats. I've especially been suspicious of Greenwald for a long time now.

Calling Rachel Maddow Show, part of the left is wrong. She reports facts with a little history thrown in, her show for the most part is teaching moments, not left or right. Just because she is a self-proclaimed liberal does not mean her show is to the left. As far as Greenwald and his like, it's simple hate is popular now among their listeners and viewers. What are they going to do when the rest of us win the moral fight? As an aside, thanks for the reminder on the banned books, just bought 5 from Amazon. And Mary, we will win.
I think anybody reporting facts without bias is considered liberal media now. Because anybody reporting truth and facts is on the side of saving democracy.
Hate is indeed easier. It feeds on itself - demanding more and more for that dopamine hit. And, sadly, aside from the ego hits every time a person lashes out with hate, it is highly financially lucrative here in America. Once ingested (or taught) it is incredibly difficult to turn a person away from it. Not impossible but almost. If a person consumed with hate isn’t willing to listen to a different viewpoint then they will never change. You can’t fix it - only watch as their life is consumed by it. (The problem right now of course is that those consumed by hate are trying to take down all those who won’t join their cult.)

I would also recommend you turn your eyes and ears towards Free Speech TV and listen to Thom Hartmann and some of the regulars on that channel.

I find Maher has deliberately turned his show into a "whine fest! As a result I find his show self serving and of little interest!
