The American justice system has repeatedly broken my spirit over the last few weeks. This news is a welcome tonic. Age and race have nothing to do with it -- I know -- but as a 69-year-old Black woman, I'm experiencing a deep exhilarating joy watching a 70-something judge and a Black woman stay the course and succeed.
Since the NY properties are encumbered, Ms. James is welcome to take the Trump International Hotel in Chicago off his hands as well and no one will have to look at the gigantic Trump sign on the river side anymore.
Thanks for the update Mary. I’m so proud of our Leticia James. Who would have thought NY would bring him down. Hopefully this is the beginning of his downfall. We have to beat him like we did before. Freedom will ring💙💙🇺🇸🇺🇸

All I can think about is “oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive” or the other quote about chickens coming home to roost. His history of discrimination in housing so many years ago will finally take him down.
I am cautiously optimistic, but remembering that he pulled a very similar thing with the bond that he had to post for E. Jean Carroll’s court award, only to post the bond the day before the deadline.
After his bloodbath statements for the good of the country he needs to be locked away from any ability to communicate with his followers because he’s just champing at the bit to unleash violent chaos on the country and the world for that mater, and that ain’t hyperbole!
Hi All, Donald is out on bail for a number of charges, some are felonies.. it is incomprehensible to me why, after his pronouncements in Ohio the other day why his bail is not revoked and he is put in jail? Any other criminal whose behavior resembled Donald while out on bail would have that bail revoked and he would be in jail…. Anyone? Anyone?
