Top 8 Reasons MAGA Had An Awful Day In Spite of the Horrible SCOTUS Decision
Number 3 will lift your spirits
The Supreme Court of the United States just reminded us with their corrupt decision to consider Donald’s immunity case that the insurrection did not fail — it never ended.
To be clear, the court never should have taken this case at all - but since they did, there is a lot to analyze and a lot to explain — So stay tuned. Tomorrow I will dive deep with the help of an attorney to talk us through what this means.
In the meantime, the good news is their decision should not affect Donald’s state cases. Donald faces two criminal state cases: one in New York for allegedly falsifying business records and one in Georgia for election inference, with some charges in the latter case carrying mandatory prison sentences.
Despite this horrible decision, in the last 24 hours, the MAGA movement was pummeled by relentless bad news. Here is a list of things you may have missed that will help you see that not all hope is lost in the fight against Donald:
1. Donald signals he doesn’t have the money to pay his fraud penalty—and the judge slams him anyway
Per AP, in an emergency hearing today, Donald’s lawyers indicated to the New York appellate court that Donald could only “post a $100 million bond” in his civil fraud case because “provisions of the verdict make it impossible for him to secure a bond for the full amount (of $454 million).”
¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
For someone who spent his entire life telling lies about his net worth and the amount of cash he has on hand, his lawyer’s claim was an embarrassing admission for him.
New York State Appellate Judge Anil Singh denied his request anyway.
Donald has to post a bond covering the FULL AMOUNT of the judgment plus interest to stop enforcement of the judgment. Donald still has until mid-March to appeal Singh’s decision—as long as he can come up with the cash.
The judge did lift the ban on Donald’s ability to obtain loans from a New York bank (good luck finding a bank that will do that)—and Donny and Eric can run the company until their appeal—as long as they post or secure a bond of over $4 million.
If Donald can’t pay the total amount, Letitia James wrote, “the AG will be “forced to expend substantial resources to execute the judgment on defendants’ real property and other assets.”
Has anyone calculated how many gold sneakers Donald has to sell to afford the entire judgment?
2. President Biden gets a physical and MAGA won’t like what his doctor said
President Biden is 81, and Republicans have continued to make age a part of this race (even though Donald is only three years younger and far less fit).
Today, the president had his annual physical, and here’s what the doctor said:
